Celebrating China’s National Day | SunFrame Belt and Road Façade Projects

Opening · Reflection on China’s National Day

Every October 1st, as the nation celebrates National Day, the SunFrame family comes together to mark the occasion in our own way. That is to share stories of completed projects, recognize team milestones, and reflect on how our expertise has journeyed from China’s vibrant cities to distant skylines across the globe. It’s a day to appreciate not only the grandeur of our country’s architecture but also the dedication and creativity that SunFrame brings to every façade we build.

Celebrating China’s 76th National Day

First, let’s take a look at some of China’s industry benchmarks.

China’s Super High-Rise Landmarks: Inspiration and Innovation

China’s super high-rise buildings, including Shanghai Tower and Ping An Finance Center, are representatives of ingenuity, precision, and ambition in the curtain wall industry. These landmarks have set global benchmarks for performance, resilience, and aesthetic refinement. On the other hand, drawing inspiration from such pioneering structures, SunFrame has honed its skills in advanced materials, modular systems, and precise installation techniques. This knowledge now guides our international projects along the Belt and Road, allowing Chinese technical excellence to reach new horizons.

SunFrame on the Belt and Road: Stories Behind the Glass

Through the Belt and Road Initiative, SunFrame has extended its high-standard curtain wall solutions to more than ten countries across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. From luxury residences and bustling commercial complexes to hospitals, cultural landmarks, and airports, our projects can show the power of Chinese façade engineering.

Southeast Asia – Designing Light and Comfort

★ Singapore

Peak Residence (Luxury Residential): This residence has adopted glazing solutions that invite abundant daylight while ensuring thermal balance, shaping airy and tranquil interiors.

Raffles Hotel Sentosa (Heritage Hotel Renovation): Façade upgrades that preserve historic charm while integrating resilient modern assemblies.

★ Philippines

Marikina Valley Medical Center (Healthcare): Aluminum curtain walls designed for sanitation, airflow, and daylight infusion, fostering patient recovery.

College Point Manila (Educational): Factory-fabricated wall units for academic buildings guarantee swift installation and enduring reliability.

RealSteel Office (Corporate): Energy-conscious glass façades optimizing brightness indoors and minimizing cooling loads.

City Mall Cebu / Apple One Equicom Tower (Commercial): Unitized systems that deliver visual openness, structural dependability, and efficient on-site assembly.

Sheraton Hotel Cebu (Hospitality): Aluminum-framed façades that unite comfort, longevity, and architectural refinement.

Camiguin Resort (Coastal Resort): Panoramic glazing with anti-corrosion aluminum frameworks is able to capture seascape views and withstand marine conditions.

Sanlam Tower (Commercial): For this office tower, SunFrame’s unitized curtain walls went up quickly and aligned perfectly, giving the building a crisp, modern look and a comfortable, well-lit interior.

Prism Tower (Commercial): With low-E glass that reduces heat and shimmers across the city, Prism Tower has become a striking landmark in Nairobi’s skyline.

★ Rwanda

M Peace Plaza (Commercial): It can be said to be a modular façade project that reinforces Kigali’s urban skyline. Besides, it is engineered for rapid construction with enduring quality.

Institute of Computer Technology / AUCA Tech Center / Kigali Independent College (Educational): Prefabricated wall systems speed up campus construction, creating resilient buildings with engaging visual appeal.

★ Ghana
