Alongside the range of products, we focused on protective and stylish finishes that help each villa component endure the desert climate while keeping its appearance sharp and inviting.
Located close to the coastline, the Giardino 49 Villas experience high temperatures, long hours of sunlight, and a strongly corrosive marine environment. To ensure long-term performance, all aluminum and steel elements including canopies, doors, louvers, and fences are coated with premium powder finishes engineered to resist UV radiation, humidity, and salt spray.
The coatings protect all aluminum and steel components from intense sunlight, extreme heat, sandstorms, and occasional rain, so that every piece can remain strong, durable, and visually pristine over time.
Using a wide range of colors, these finishes harmonize with the villas’ modern design. Aluminum fences, louvers, and canopies adopted in the 49 villas are coated in bright white, while door frames and steel fences are painted in black. This has added a refined contrast that enhances the overall look.
The powder coating is both solvent-free and low in VOCs, which is eco-friendly and safe.
Designed for minimal upkeep, the surfaces remain clean, bright, and fully functional for years, even when exposed to dust and desert winds.
During the early construction phase, the ground-floor (GF) aluminum canopy was initially fabricated according to the client’s original drawings. After the mock-up review, however, the owner found the visual effect less than ideal.
SunFrame’s design team reconfigured the layout with improved proportions and refined detailing—a proposal the client quickly approved for production. The updated canopy not only enhanced the visual harmony of the façade but also showcased SunFrame’s design flexibility and responsiveness on site.

While SunFrame is widely recognized for our curtain wall systems, the 49 Villa Project demonstrates that our expertise extends well beyond façades. We have created a full spectrum of building envelope solutions for Qatar’s high-end residential sector by combining aluminum, steel, and automated gate systems across 49 villas.
As a result, this project not only showcases our technical capability but also reflects our ability to manage diverse products and coordinate complex installations, further proving we can bring the same level of precision and creativity to villas as we do to landmark curtain walls.
