Our full-cycle involvement in this facade project has ensured architectural integrity, construction efficiency, and lasting quality.

SunFrame’s Key Contributions

In this section, we will show you what products we SunFrame have made for this facade system and their corresponding design highlights. Let’s see we SunFrame’s key contributions one by one.

First is the mashrabiya system which is full of the local cultural elements. Next are the perforated aluminum panels, skylight systems and the custom doors & windows with their different functions.

Culturally Inspired Mashrabiya
System

SunFrame designed and fabricated the intricate aluminum mashrabiya screens, drawing on Qatar’s Islamic architectural traditions. Also, the design has combined precise geometric aesthetics with practical benefits such as sun shading, privacy, and natural ventilation.

Innovative Skylight Systems

To let the natural daylight in while preserving energy efficiency, SunFrame integrated custom flat aluminum and glass skylights along with an ETFE dome skylight. These lightweight yet durable structures enhance interior illumination while minimizing heat gain.

High-Performance Perforated Aluminum Panels

The mosque’s facade incorporates 10 mm thick perforated aluminum panels, engineered for durability, visual depth, and thermal insulation. These panels are made to present architectural expression and offer functional protection against the harsh desert climate.

Custom Doors & Windows

The project also featured specially designed aluminum doors and windows with advanced thermal and weather resistance. This ensures maximum performance and seamless integration with the façade system.

Project Significance

The QET-JMA project stands as a testament to SunFrame’s ability to merge cultural identity with contemporary facade engineering. What’s more, this project has further solidified SunFrame’s leading position in the Middle East market, consistently delivering aluminum facade solutions that integrate sustainability, innovation, and visual excellence.
